Wake up the Snake @ COP30 Brazil

This Tuesday at COP30 Brazil, we’re proud to announce a groundbreaking step in Australia’s climate adaptation journey.

Join us at 10am in the Australian Pavilion to explore the West Kimberley Climate Adaptation Pilot — a First Nations–led initiative implementing the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists‘ Blueprint to Repair Australian Landscapes.

Sir David Attenborough once called the West Kimberley’s Horizontal Falls “one of the greatest natural wonders of the world.” This precious biocultural region has been sustained by Indigenous stewardship for over 60,000 years.

As climate pressures intensify, this Pilot offers a bold, bottom-up pathway for adaptation — blending Indigenous knowledge, contemporary science, and innovative finance to restore ecosystems, support community-led development, and cultivate a thriving well-being economy.
